"Start Local, Go Global"
MISSION
EdActs Global, Inc was formalized after the founder was traveling as an international consultant and while being a professor of Biola University (he was a tenured professor at California State University, Fullerton and is currently a professor at Concordia University, Irvine). He recalled his days as a K-12 student, and as a high school teacher and remembered the passion our youth have for their community. EdActs Global supports students by having them develop leadership skills by having them develop and conduct local and global service projects. By using the motto “Start local, Go Global,” EdActs students create their projects to support their local communities. They then travel to come alongside others to assist in activities within global populations. The global projects are never mandatory and open to the students as well as adults.
